What is this workshop about?

With the advancement in Android technology, it became very easy for us to learn new technologies, order food, book a cab or even connect with our loved ones with the touch of a button. And it became an unavoidable technology for all the innovators who want to help people with an efficient solution.
You can now get started with the Android by developing 5 different Apps without having any coding knowledge.
In this course, you will learn to develop 5 different Android Apps using MIT App Inventor software.

The Apps you will build are:

  1. Speech recognition App
  2. SMS sender App
  3. Location finder App
  4. Find me on map App
  5. SOS App

  • Introduction to MIT App Inventor
  • Build an App for Text to Speech Conversion

Course Structure

  • Lecture Session - 2 hours
  • Installation Session - 1 hour
  • Programming Session - 13.5 hours
  • Certificate Distribution - 0.5 hours
